DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MUR 8230:1. Dismiss the allegation that Our American Future Foundation violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(b) by making a prohibited corporate contribution.2. Dismiss the allegation that New Politics Leadership Academy violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(b) by making a prohibited corporate contribution.3. Dismiss the allegation that Mandela Barnes and The Long Run PAC f/k/a Mandela Barnes for Wisconsin and Ellen Bravo in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.4. Dismiss the allegation that Cheri Beasley and Cheri Beasley for North Carolina and Lauren Decot Lee in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.5. Dismiss the allegation that Kirsten Engel and Engel for Arizona and Dacey Montoya in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.6. Dismiss the allegation that Laura Gillen, Gillen for Congress and Stuart Lang in his official capacity as treasurer, and Gillen for New York and Stuart Lang in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.7. Dismiss the allegation that Josh Riley and Josh Riley for Congress and Victoria Perrone in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.8. Dismiss the allegation that Will Rollins and Will Rollins for Congress and Jay Patterson in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.9. Dismiss the allegation that Tony Vargas and Vargas for Congress and Jessica Lathrop in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 114.2(d) by knowingly accepting or receiving a prohibited corporate contribution.10. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated February 20, 2025, subject to the edits circulated by Commissioners Broussard and Lindenbaum offices on March 20, 2025 at 2:26 p.m.11. Approve the appropriate letters. 12. Close the file effective 30 days from the date the certification of this vote is signed (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
