Conferences

FECConnect Regional

Every election cycle, the FEC hosts two-day regional conferences where Commissioners and staff conduct a variety of technical workshops on the law. Discussion topics include fundraising, reporting and communications. Workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law, as well as for those more experienced in campaign finance law.

NOTE: In 2023, the FEC hosted single-day, in-person seminars at its Washington, DC, headquarters in lieu of regional conferences. We plan to resume regional conferences in the 2025-26 election cycle.

For questions about the conference program, call the FEC's Information Division at 1-800-424-9530 (menu option 6), or send an email to conferences@fec.gov.

Educational webinars

FECConnect Live

The FEC conducts frequent webinars to help committees comply with the campaign finance law. These online workshops include two-day programs that provide in-depth training on the rules for candidates, parties and PACs, as well as two-hour, topic-based webinars that offer timely guidance on issue that arise during the election cycle.

All of these webinars are available online only. You can participate right at your desk, and avoid the time and expense of traveling to DC. Online materials and technical information will be provided to those who register.

Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Prepayment is required.
