Do I have to file a Pre-General Report?

October 24, 2022

Monthly filers and authorized committees of a candidates running in the 2022 general election must file a 12-Day Pre-General Election Report, by Thursday, October 27. If you are a quarterly filing PAC or party committee, you must file a pre-general report only if your committee made contributions or expenditures in connection with the general election between October 1 and October 19, 2022. Additional reporting information, including a complete list of filing dates, is available on our Dates and deadlines page.

Staff in the Reports Analysis Division (RAD) and Electronic Filing Office will be available until 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, October 27.
