FEC to host May 27 webinar for membership & labor organization PACs (2020)

April 23, 2020
Membership & Labor Organizations Webinar

The Commission will hold a one-day online seminar for membership organizations, labor organizations, and their political action committees (PACs) on May 27, 2020. These interactive workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as for those more experienced in campaign finance law.

Attendees can choose one of two options. Option 1 includes three sessions: a morning session, Basics for Beginners, which will introduce federal campaign finance laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to those new to federal committees; and a two-part Membership/Labor PAC Operations webinar in the afternoon, which will go into much more detail on fundraising and disclosure rules that apply to membership and labor organization PACs. Option 2, for those with more experience, includes just the two afternoon sessions.

Webinar information

An email containing a link to workshop materials, technical information and additional instructions will be sent to registered participants on May 26, 2020.
