New York has rescheduled a special election to fill the U.S. House of Representatives seat in the 27th congressional district vacated by Representative Chris Collins. The Special General Election, formerly set for April 28, 2020, will now be held on June 23, 2020.

Participating candidates must file additional reports in connection with this election. Quarterly filing PACs and party committees that make previously undisclosed contributions or expenditures in connection with the special election must also file additional reports. The complete list of deadlines and related filing information is available on the Dates and deadlines page. PACs and party committees that file monthly should continue to file according to their regular filing schedule.
