Washington, DC, conference for trade associations, membership organizations and labor organizations
The Commission will hold its annual conference in Washington, DC, on May 21-22, 2009, for trade associations, membership organizations, labor organizations and their political committees. Commissioners and staff will conduct a variety of technical workshops on federal campaign finance law. Workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as for those more experienced in campaign finance law. Hotel Information. The conference will be held at the Omni Shoreham hotel in northwest Washington, DC, near the National Zoo and the Woodley-Park-National Zoo Metro subway station (Red Line). A room rate of $249 (single or double) is available to conference attendees who make reservations on or before April 17, 2009. Registration Information. The registration fee for this conference is $499, which covers the cost of the conference, materials and meals. A $51 late fee will be added to registration received after 5 p.m. EST, April 17, 2009.
