Updated FEC Form 1 now available

May 23, 2022

Filers can now check a box on the Statement or Organization (FEC Form 1) to register an independent expenditure-only committee (Super PAC) or committee that maintains a non-contribution account (Hybrid PAC). The new checkboxes also appear on the online webform version of Form 1 and in the latest release of the Commission’s free electronic filing software, FECFile (8.4). Filers that use other electronic filing software should check with their vendor for a new version to ensure the software complies with the updated format specifications.
