Revised Statement of Organization (FEC Form 1) now available

May 17, 2022

In March, the Commission voted to update the Statement of Organization (FEC Form 1) to add checkboxes for independent expenditure-only committees (Super PACs) and committees with a non-contribution account (Hybrid PACs). The updated form is now available.

As part of this update, the FEC has also released new versions of FECFile (8.4) and the FEC Form 1 online webform. FECFile users should download the new version by opening FECFile and following the auto update prompts. Filers that use other electronic filing software should check with their vendor for a new version, as all software must now comply with the FEC's updated format specifications.
