March Reporting Notes

March 16, 2009

Monthly filing committees are reminded that they have a report due Friday, March 20, covering the month of February. On March 10, FECFile Version 6.3.1.1 became available for download from the FEC Web site at https://transition.fec.gov/elecfil/updatelist.shtml. Any report filed after that date must be filed using the new software. The new format corrects some technical issues and allows for the amendments to Form 1 that are due by March 29 for lobbyist/registrant and leadership PACs.
