Independent Expenditure Update

Independent expenditures disclosed between October 25, 2004 and October 28, 2004 totaled $33.6 million. The following tables summarize information submitted on reports during this four day period. This release continues a series of tabulations made possible by requirements for continuous reporting of independent expenditures of more than $1,000 during the final 20 days of a campaign.  Earlier expenditures of more than $10,000 were reported within 48 hours.  For additional information, see releases of October 5, October 8, October 20, and October 28.
