Independent Expenditure Update

Independent expenditures disclosed between October 19, 2004 and October 24, 2004 totaled $65.3 million. The following tables summarize information submitted on reports during this six day period. This release continues a series of tabulations made possible by requirements for continuous reporting of independent expenditures of more than $1,000 during the final 20 days of a campaign.  Earlier expenditures of more than $10,000 were reported within 48 hours.  For additional information, see releases of October 5, October 8 and October 20.
