Advisory to Editors, Correspondents, Broadcasters:

Copies of the Federal Election Commission’s Annual Report 2002 are available through the FEC Press Office. Among its highlights, the report chronicles calendar year 2002 and the unprecedented challenges the Commission faced in promulgating regulations within 270 days to implement the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 (BCRA). The Annual Report also profiles legal issues, details legislative recommendations, describes Administrative Fine and Alternative Dispute Resolution programs, and contains numerous charts and graphs on campaign finance activity. The Annual Report is also on the FEC Website (www.fec.gov).
