FEC to offer advanced FECFile webinar in June (2026)

Advanced FECFile Webinar for Candidate Committees

The Commission will offer an advanced FECFile workshop next month to help candidate committees prepare their July quarterly reports. This expanded webinar will go beyond the basics of FECFile and is designed for experienced users looking to report more complex transactions in the software.

During the session, staff from the FEC’s Reports Analysis Division will demonstrate various reporting methods in FECFile, including reporting earmarked contributions, filing 48-hour reports, and importing external data sets into the software.

Webinar information

This live, interactive training event will take place online via Zoom Webinar. An email containing a link to workshop materials, technical information, and log-in instructions will be sent to registered participants the day before the webinar.

Note: This webinar is tailored to filers who already have a basic understanding of the FECFile software. A webinar for FECFile basics is scheduled for June 24. Click here for a full webinar schedule.

Registration information

The cost to attend the webinar is $20. To register, visit the FEC Training Payment page on Pay.gov (the government’s secure portal for online payments. Registrants are encouraged to pay by credit card, as refunds of automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments are not readily available.

Learning credits

The FEC will provide all attendees with a letter certifying participation, which participants can use to independently apply for CLE or other credits. Email Conferences@fec.gov if you have further questions related to educational credit.
