FEC to host Year-End Reporting and FECFile webinars in January (2024)
The Commission will offer its annual Year-End Reporting and FECFile workshops in January 2024. The webinars for political action committees (PACs) and party committees will be held on Wednesday, January 17, while the webinars for candidate committees will be offered on Wednesday, January 24.
The reporting sessions will be relevant to all filers, and presenters will address common filing problems, provide reporting information, and answer questions committees may have as they prepare to file their January 31 Year-End Reports. During the electronic filing sessions, FEC staff will demonstrate the Commission’s FECFile software, show how to report different types of financial activity, and address questions filers may have about reporting their activity using FECFile. During all webinars, staff from the FEC’s Reports Analysis Division will lead participants through detailed reporting scenarios and answer your campaign finance reporting questions.

These live, interactive training events will take place online via Zoom Webinar. An email containing a link to workshop materials, technical information, and log-in instructions will be sent to registered participants the day before the webinar.

Registration Information
The cost to participate is $20 per webinar. To register, visit the FEC Training Payment page on Pay.gov (the government’s secure portal for online payments). Please note that refunds of automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments are not readily available.
Learning credits
The FEC will provide all attendees with a letter certifying participation, which participants can use to independently apply for CLE or other credits. Email Conferences@fec.gov if you have further questions related to educational credit.
