The FEC will offer two webinars on March 30 for committees that use the Commission’s FECFile software to file their disclosure reports.
These two-hour training sessions are designed to address common filing problems and provide answers to questions committees may have as they prepare to file their April Quarterly or Monthly Reports, due April 15 and 20, respectively. The webinar for candidates and their campaign committees will be held at 12:00 pm Eastern, while the training for political action committees (PACs) and party committees will take place at 2:30 pm Eastern. During the webinars, staff from the Commission’s Reports Analysis Division (RAD) will demonstrate the FEC’s free filing software, walk participants through reporting scenarios, and address any questions filers may have. Throughout the training, participants will be able to interact with presenters and hosts through a chat function and poll questions.
The live webinars will take place online via Zoom. An email containing a link to workshop materials, technical information and additional instructions will be sent to registered participants the day before the webinar, Tuesday, March 29.
The cost to participate is $30. To register, visit the FEC Training Payment page on Pay.gov (the government’s secure portal for online payments). A full refund will made for all cancellations received before 5 p.m. on Monday, March 28; no refunds will be made for cancellations received after that time. Additionally, please note that refunds of automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments are not readily available
