FEC to host March 27 webinar for membership and labor organization PACs (2019)
The Commission will hold a one-day online seminar for membership organizations, labor organizations, and their political action committees (PACs) on March 27, 2019. Commission staff will conduct several technical workshops on the federal campaign finance laws affecting membership organizations, labor organizations, and their PACs. Workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as for those more experienced in campaign finance law.
Attendees can choose one of two options. Option 1 includes three sessions: a morning session, Basics for Beginners, which will introduce federal campaign finance laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to those new to federal committees; and a two-part Member/Labor PAC Operations webinar in the afternoon, which will go into much more detail on fundraising and disclosure rules that apply to membership and labor organization PACs. Option 2, for those more experienced, includes just the two afternoon sessions.

Registration information
The cost for Option 1 (Basics & Operations) is $80. The cost for Option 2 (Operations only) is $60. To register, visit the FEC Training Payment page on Pay.gov (the government’s secure portal for online payments). A full refund will made for all cancellations received before 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, March 22; no refunds will be made for cancellations received after that time. Additionally, please note that refunds of automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments are not readily available.
