Electioneering communications general election filing period begins this Friday

September 6, 2016

The electioneering communications period for the general election begins on Friday, September 9 and runs through November 8. Any person who makes electioneering communications that aggregate more than $10,000 during this time period must file disclosure statements with the Commission within 24 hours of the date the electioneering communication is publicly distributed.
