Clarification of 2/24/09 Tip

February 26, 2009

The March 30 deadline listed in the Commission's February 17 Federal Register Notice for lobbyist/registrant PACs to amend their FEC Form 1 (Statement of Organization) is incorrect. As noted in our tip of February 24, the actual deadline for filing the Form 1 amendments is Sunday, March 29, 2009. A corrected Federal Register notice is available.
