  • FEC Record: Advisory opinions

AOR 2021-08: Congressman Scott Fitzgerald

August 12, 2021

On August 11, 2021, the Commission considered an advisory opinion request from Congressman Scott Fitzgerald. The request asked if the Congressman’s state campaign committee is affiliated with his federal leadership PAC, and if so, whether the state committee may make unlimited transfers of funds to the leadership PAC. The Commission considered two draft advisory opinions but was unable to approve either draft by the required four affirmative votes. The Commission concluded its consideration of the request without issuing an advisory opinion.
