AOR 2021-01: Aluminate, Inc.

March 29, 2021

On March 25, 2021, the Commission considered an advisory opinion request (AOR) from Aluminate, Inc. (Aluminate). The request asked if Aluminate could use individual contributors’ data obtained from Commission reports in providing services to universities, colleges, and not-for-profit organizations. The Commission considered two draft advisory opinions but was unable to approve either draft by the required four affirmative votes and concluded its consideration of the request without issuing an advisory opinion.
