Non-election years

If an SSF files quarterly in election years, it will automatically switch to semi-annual reporting in non-election years.

If an SSF files monthly in election years, it will keep filing monthly in non-election years.

If an SSF wants to switch filing frequency from monthly to quarterly (or vice versa), it can do this up to one time a calendar year, if the treasurer notifies the FEC first:

Other filing requirements may also apply if an SSF is active in a special election.
