Monthly filers (election year)

All national party committees file monthly, as does any state, district or local party committee that engages in reportable Federal Election Activity. Party committees that are monthly filers during an election year will submit 12 reports covering their financial activity:

  • Nine monthly reports
  • One pre-general report
  • One post-general report
  • One year-end report

Monthly filers don't have to file pre-primary or special election reports.
