DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 8131:1. Accept the conciliation agreement with Nancy Marks, as recommended in the Memorandum to the Commission dated September 16, 2024.2. Approve the appropriate letters.3. Close the file effective 30 days from the date the certification of this vote is signed (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 8131:1. Find reason to believe that Nancy Marks violated 52 U.S.C. §§ 30102(h)(1) and 30104(b) and 11 C.F.R. §§ 103.3(a) and 104.3 by failing to deposit receipts into a campaign depository account and by failing to report and incorrectly reporting information regarding receipts, disbursements, and cash on hand.2. Enter into pre-probable cause conciliation with Nancy Marks prior to a finding of reason to believe.3. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated February 9, 2024, subject to the edits as last circulated by Chairman Cooksey’s Office on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 1:14 p.m.4.
