Accept the conciliation agreement with Buzz Patterson for Congress and Louis Baglietto in his official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the Memorandum to the Commission dated June 7, 2023.3. Approve the appropriate letters.4. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 7796: 1. Find reason to believe that Louis G. Baglietto violated 52 U.S.C. §§ 30102(c), (d) and 30104(a), (b) and 11 C.F.R. §§ 102.9 and 104.3(a), (b) by failing to keep complete records and file reports with the Commission.2. Find no reason to believe that Robert “Buzz” Patterson and Buzz Patterson for Congress and Louis G. Baglietto in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30114(b)(1) by converting campaign funds to personal use.3. Enter into conciliation with Buzz Patterson for Congress and Louis G. Baglietto in his official capacity as treasurer prior to a finding of probable cause to believe.4. Enter into conciliation with Louis G. Baglietto prior to a finding of probable cause to believe.5. Approve the Conciliation Agreements, as recommended in the Second General Counsel’s Report dated November 8, 2022.6. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the Second General Counsel’s Report dated November 8, 2022.7. Approve the appropriate letters.8. Close the file as to Robert “Buzz” Patterson.

The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 7796:1. Find reason to believe that Buzz Patterson for Congress and Louis “Lou” G. Baglietto in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(a), (b) and 11 C.F.R. § 104.3(a), (b) by failing to file required reports of receipts and disbursements.2. Find no reason to believe that Robert “Buzz” Patterson violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(a), (b) and 11 C.F.R. § 104.3(a), (b) by failing to file required reports of receipts and disbursements.3. Take no action at this time with regards to the allegation that Robert “Buzz” Patterson and Buzz Patterson for Congress and Louis “Lou” G. Baglietto in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30114(b)(1) by converting campaign funds to personal use.4. Approve the Factual and Legal Analyses, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated August 5, 2021.5. Authorize compulsory process.6. Approve the appropriate letters.
