ADVISORY OPINIONS
Request Received AOR 2013-17 (The Tea Party Leadership Fund). On September 27, the Commission made public Advisory Opinion Request 2013-17. The Tea Party Leadership Fund (TPLF) seeks an exemption from the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, (the Act) and Commission regulations requiring reporting to the FEC contributors to the TPLF and to the recipients of TPLF disbursements. The Commission must issue a response no later than 60 days after receipt of the complete request, that is, by November 18, 2013.
LITIGATION
La Botz v. FEC (Case 1:13-cv-00997-RC). On September 23, the plaintiff filed a Response to Defendant''''s Motion to Dismiss in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Nader v. FEC (Case 1:10-cv-00989-RCL). On September 26, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit issued a mandate transferring the case to the district court, vacating the district court''''s previous judgment, and instructing the court to dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction. On September 25, the Commission hosted a Webinar: Candidate 101: Preparing for the Next Election Cycle.
OUTREACH
On September 25, Chair Ellen L. Weintraub discussed the role of the Commission with a Latin American delegation as part of the State Department''''s International Visitor Leadership Program.
PUBLIC DISCLOSURE
On September 26, the Commission made public its Draft Strategic Plan for FY 2014-2019 on the Commission website. Comments may be submitted to StrategicPlanComments@fec.gov, through November 11, 2013.

The Official 2012 Presidential General Election Results are available in the Library section of the website. This listing was compiled from the official election results published by state election offices.

The FEC Annual Reports from 1975-2006 are now available on the website. Beginning in 2007, the Commission consolidated its Annual Report with its Performance and Accountability Report (PAR) to provide a single account of the agency''''s activities for each fiscal year.
