Request received

Advisory Opinion Request 2016-03 (Holding for Congress)

On March 18, the Commission made public Advisory Opinion Request 2016-03. Requestor asks whether Representative Holding may raise additional contributions subject to a new contribution limit during a campaign with multiple primary dates. The Commission must issue a response no later than 60 days after the receipt of the complete request, that is, by May 16, 2016.
