COMMISSION MEETINGS

No Commission Executive Sessions or Open Meetings were scheduled this week.

ENFORCEMENT

The Commission made public two closed cases.

MUR 6306 – Friends of Sharron Angle and Alan B. Mills, in his official capacity as treasurer; Sharron B. Angle; and DLR Ventures, LLC.  The Commission dismissed the case. Commissioner Steven T. Walther recused himself with respect to this matter and did not vote.

MUR 6351 – William J. Pascrell; and Pascrell for Congress and Edward Farmer, in his official capacity as treasurer. The Commission found no reason to believe the respondents violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended (the Act).

LITIGATION

Schonberg v. FEC.  On December 23, the Commission filed a Motion to Dissolve Three-Judge Court in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. On December 27, the plaintiff filed an Amended Complaint.
