To help individuals, organizations and political committees understand and comply with federal campaign finance rules, the Commission will host a series of educational webinars in September and October. On Wednesday, September 7, FEC staff will present an Independent Expenditures and Pre-Election Communications Webinar, which will delve into the rules and reporting requirements that pertain to independent expenditures and other types of communications frequently made before the general election. The FEC will also host Reporting and FECFile Webinars for political action committees and party committees on September 28, and for candidate committees on October 6. These webinars are designed to help committees prepare to file their October Quarterly or Monthly Reports. Space is limited for these live, interactive events, so register soon to reserve your spot!
