New law changes Senate filing rules

Earlier today, President Trump signed legislation that makes the FEC the point of entry for all Senate filings. As a result, Senate candidates and committees no longer file with the Secretary of the Senate. Senate filers are also now subject to the Commission’s mandatory electronic filing rules.
