If you are a monthly filer* or an authorized committee of a candidate in the 2018 general election, the answer is automatically YES. If you are a quarterly-filing PAC or party committee, you must file a pre-general report only if your committee made contributions or expenditures in connection with the general election between October 1 and October 17, 2018.

If using overnight mail, the delivery service must receive the report on or before October 22. Please visit our 2018 reporting dates webpage for more information on filing pre-general reports.
