Special elections trigger additional reporting for some filers

March 5, 2021

Pre-election reports are due Monday, March 8, for committees participating in the March 20 special elections in Louisiana’s 2nd and 5th congressional districts. Special election reports are required not only for the campaigns involved, but also for PACs and party committees not filing monthly that make previously undisclosed contributions or expenditures in connection with the election.
