Special Election Reporting

April 18, 2011

Committees involved in two upcoming special elections have reports due in May. In California's 36th district, a pre-general report is due May 5 (covering activity from April 1 through April 27). In New York's 26th District, a pre-general report is due May 12 (covering April 1 through May 4). Quarterly-filing PACs/party committees and other entities supporting or opposing candidates in those elections should review these Federal Register notices [CA/36 |NY/26] to determine their filing requirements.
