New Rules on FEA and Coordinated Communications Published

. The Commission recently published two Federal Register notices containing final rules on coordinated communications and federal election activity. These final rules were promulgated in response to the decision of the Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit in Shays III. Both sets of final rules go into effect on December 1, 2010.
