July Reporting Reminders

July 20, 2009

Monthly filers have a report due today, July 20.  Semi-annual filers (e.g., those PACs and party committees that filed quarterly in 2008) have a report due on Friday, July 31. (Most authorized committees of candidates filed their quarterly reports last week, on July 15.) Electronic filers are reminded to use the new electronic filing format (see last week's tip for details). Additionally, authorized committees, leadership PACs and party committees that received bundled contributions from lobbyists, lobbyist registrants or lobbyist/registrant PACs may need to file FEC Form 3L with their July report. For additional information, visit our lobbyist bundling disclosure page.
