Instructional videos for reporting independent expenditures are now available!

August 8, 2016

The Commission recently posted two video playlists on FECConnect On Demand that show how to properly disclose independent expenditures (IEs). The Red Track playlist shows registered PACs and party committees how to disclose IEs on FEC Form 3X, while the Blue Track playlist demonstrates proper reporting of IEs for individuals, corporations and other filers using FEC Form 5. Both playlists address timing and disclosure scenarios for special 24-Hour and 48-Hour reports as well as regularly scheduled reports.
