Happy New Year from the FEC!

December 27, 2016

For many of us, the start of the new year is a time to take stock and identify things we want to change. As part of that process, we encourage you to take a look at your committee’s Statement of Organization (FEC Form 1) and make any necessary changes (e.g., staffing, mailing address, email address). The FEC uses the information on Form 1 to send helpful compliance information to your committee. Also, take the time to review your FECMail subscriptions to ensure that you're getting the latest information as soon as it's posted on our website. January 2017 will bring updated reporting schedules, updated contribution limits, announcements of upcoming training for PACs, party committees and campaigns, and postings of other important information for committee treasurers. Resolve to keep up-to-date in 2017!
