Georgia special election may affect July Quarterly filing (2010)

June 28, 2010

A special general run-off election was held in Georgia's 9th district on June 8. Candidates in this election, and quarterly filers who made previously undisclosed contributions or expenditures in connection with this election, must file a Post-Runoff report on Thursday, July 8, covering activity through June 28. For these committees only, the July Quarterly report normally due on July 15 is waived, and the October Quarterly report will cover June 29 through September 30.
