Fundraising notices for campaigns

October 7, 2024

When a campaign solicits contributions through public communications, a campaign website or internet application, it must include a clear and conspicuous notice stating that it was authorized and paid for by the campaign. For example: "Paid for by the Sam Jones for Congress Committee." For more information on fundraising notice requirements, please visit the Commission website or review a fundraising invitation example.
