FEC to host March 12 & 13 Political Party Committee Webinar (2024)

February 6, 2024
2024 Party webhead

The Commission will hold an in-depth, online training event for political party committees on Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13. This live, interactive webinar is designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as for those more experienced in the campaign finance rules relevant to political party committees.

Attendees can choose one of two options. Option 1 includes three sessions: a Basics for Beginners session on Tuesday, which will introduce federal campaign finance laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to those new to party committees; and a two-part Party Operations workshop on Wednesday, which will go into much more detail on fundraising, making contributions, federal election activity, reporting scenarios, and disclosure rules. Option 2, for those with more experience, includes just the two Wednesday afternoon sessions. This will be the only in-depth webinar geared specifically toward political party committees this year, so register today to reserve your spot.
