FEC to host July 8 Basic and Advanced FECFile Webinars (2026)

May 28, 2026
July 8, 2026 FECFile Webinar Webhead

The Commission will offer both beginner and advanced FECFile webinars on Wednesday, July 8 to help committees prepare to file their July quarterly or monthly disclosure reports. Whether you are new to the FEC’s free filing software or have been using it for years, these webinars are for you.

During the basic session, FEC staff will cover introductory topics, including setting up the committee data file, entering receipts and disbursements and submitting reports. The advanced session will dive into more detailed transactions, including independent expenditure reporting and earmarked contributions. During both webinars, staff from the FEC’s Reports Analysis Division will lead participants through detailed reporting scenarios and answer your campaign finance reporting questions.

Webinar information

This training will take place online via Zoom Webinar. An email containing a link to workshop materials, technical information and additional instructions will be sent to registered participants the day before the webinar.

The cost to participate is $20 per webinar. To register, visit the FEC Training Payment page on Pay.gov (the government’s secure portal for online payments). Registrants are encouraged to pay by credit card, as refunds of automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments are not readily available.
