FEC to Hold Open Meeting on January 25, 2007

The Federal Election Commission (Commission) will meet in open session on Thursday January 25, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Commission’s offices at 999 E Street, N.W. in Washington.
The Commission will consider responses to two Advisory Opinion Requests. The first is from Kolbe for Congress regarding the use of campaign funds to pay certain legal expenses related to investigations by the House Ethics Committee and the Department of Justice. The Commission will also consider a request from Barry Kissin and Kissin for Congress regarding reimbursement by the committee of a portion of funds provided by the candidate during the course of the campaign.
