FEC seeks comment on Volunteer Materials Exemption Policy WASHINGTON – The Federal Election Commission seeks public comment on alternative drafts of a Volunteer Materials Exemption Policy. Commenters are encouraged to review the drafts and submit comments to VMEpolicy@fec.gov. Comments on the drafts are due by 5:00 pm on April 13, 2010. The drafts are accessible on the Commission’s website at http://www.fec.gov/law/policy.shtml#volunteer.
The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is an independent regulatory agency that administers and enforces federal campaign finance laws. The FEC has jurisdiction over the financing of campaigns for the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, the Presidency and the Vice Presidency.
