FEC to host San Antonio Regional Conference in February (2020)
The Commission will hold its final regional conference of the 2019-2020 election cycle in San Antonio, Texas, on February 25-26, 2020. Commissioners and staff will conduct a variety of technical workshops on the federal campaign finance laws affecting federal candidates, parties and PACs. Workshops are designed for those seeking an introduction to the basic provisions of the law as well as those with more experience.
Registration information
Registration is a two-step process:
- Step One: Provide some basic information about yourself and select the workshops you’d like to attend. Complete Step One.
- Step Two: Visit our secure payment website to submit payment and complete your registration. Complete Step Two.
The conference registration fee is $585 per attendee. The registration fee increases to $635 per attendee for registrations received after 5:00 p.m. (ET) on January 24, 2020. The fee will be fully refundable until 5:00 p.m. (ET) on January 24, 2020, and 50% refundable until 5:00 p.m. (ET) on February 7, 2020. No refund will be made for cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. (ET) on February 7, 2020. Complete registration information is available on our conference website.
Hotel information
The conference will be held at the Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk, located at 111 E. Pecan Street, in San Antonio, Texas.
After completing Step One of the registration process, attendees will receive a confirmation email containing a link to make hotel reservations at a group rate of $126 per night. Alternatively, you may make reservations by calling 1-866-764-8536. You must identify yourself as an FEC regional conference attendee to receive the group rate.
Please note that the block of rooms is first come, first served. To ensure your spot, book your hotel after completing both steps of the registration process, but no later than February 3, 2020.
Conference agenda
Workshops begin at 9:15 a.m. each morning and conclude at 4:00 p.m. on Day 1 and at 2:30 p.m. on Day 2. A full agenda is available here.
Workshop material
All conference attendees will all receive a binder with printed materials at the conference. Prior to the conference, all attendees will also receive an email with links to download electronic versions of all the training materials.
