The Commission will offer a series of webinars in September to help committees prepare to file their October quarterly or monthly disclosure reports. Candidate Reporting and FECFile workshops will be held on Wednesday, September 23, while the workshops for PACs and party committees will be offered on Thursday, September 24.
The reporting webinars will address common filing problems, use scenarios to demonstrate reporting methods, and provide answers to questions committees may have as they prepare to file their October reports. The electronic filing sessions will demonstrate the Commission’s FECFile software and address questions users may have concerning filing reports using FECFile. Participants will be able to interact with FEC presenters via a webinar chat pod and poll questions.
An email containing a link to workshop materials, technical information and additional instructions will be sent to registered participants the day before the webinar.
The cost to participate is $30 per webinar. To register, visit the FEC Training Payment page on Pay.gov (the government’s secure portal for online payments). A full refund will made for all cancellations received before 5 p.m. Eastern on Friday, September 18; no refunds will be made for cancellations received after that time. Additionally, please note that refunds of automated clearinghouse (ACH) payments are not readily available.
