FEC Approves New Audit Procedures

July 19, 2010

On July 1, the Commission approved a Directive on Processing Audit Reports, a Directive on Legal Guidance to the Office of Compliance, and a Policy Statement Establishing a Pilot Program for Requesting Consideration of Legal Questions by the Commission. The three documents are intended to enhance the efficiency and transparency of the Commission’s reports analysis and audit functions.
