Electioneering Communications General Election Filing Period Began on September 5

September 8, 2014

The electioneering communications period for the general election began on Friday, September 5 and runs through November 4. Any person who makes electioneering communications that aggregate more than $10,000 during this time period must file disclosure statements with the Commission within 24 hours of the date the electioneering communication is publicly distributed.
