Do I Have to File a Pre-General Report?

If you are a monthly filer or an authorized committee of a candidate in the 2014 general election, the answer is automatically YES. If you are a quarterly filing PAC or party committee, you must file a pre-general report only if your committee made contributions or expenditures in connection with the general election between October 1 and October 15, 2014. The report is due Thursday, October 23. (Please note that monthly filing PACs/party committees also must file their regular monthly report covering September on Monday, October 20.)
