Do I Have to File a Pre-General Report?

If you are a monthly filing committee, or an authorized committee of a candidate in the 2010 general election, the answer is automatically YES. If you are a quarterly filing PAC or party committee, you must file a pre-general report only if your committee made contributions or expenditures in connection with the general election during the time period October 1-October 13, 2010. The report is due Thursday, October 21.
