Debt Disclosure, Part 2 - Continuously Report Debts Until Repaid

This is the second in a series of monthly tips on how to properly report debts owed by your committee. Last month we discussed how and when to first itemize a debt owed by the committee. After a debt is first itemized on an FEC report, a committee must continue to itemize the debt owed on Schedule D on each subsequent report up to and including the report on which it reports repaying the debt in full. An example appears in your Campaign Guide in the Reporting chapter.
