Cash contributions
Political committees may not accept more than $100 in cash from a particular source. Contributions exceeding $100 must be made by check or other written instrument. An anonymous contribution of cash is limited to $50. Any amount in excess of $50 must be promptly disposed of and may be used for any lawful purpose unrelated to any federal election, campaign or candidate.
